Throughout the years since 1876 the US Mints have struck coins for various other countries. At last count there were more than 400 different coin types, i.e. KM numbers in the list. I have collected coins meeting this criteria since 1986. I got interested in this area because it offers a collecting challenge without the costs associated with collecting US Coins. Sure, some of these coins are expensive, but the majority are just hard to locate, costing very little in comparison to US Coins if you can find them.
